The Athletic Department at Gregory-Portland ISD will begin Summer Strength and Conditioning sessions on June the 8th. These session will follow the strict guidelines set forth by University Interscholastic League. These guidelines can be found at https://www.uiltexas.org/athletics/covid-19-strength-conditioning-2020. Coaches will contact their athletes and schedule a Zoom Meeting or Microsoft Teams meeting on Monday, June the 8th, to go over the protocols and guidelines that will be used in conducting the Strength and Conditioning  sessions. On Tuesday, June the 9th there will be a orientation at the High School and Middle School to go over the protocols and guidelines once again that will be used during the Strength and Conditioning  sessions. Strength and Conditioning sessions will begin on June the 10th.

During the month of June the Strength and Conditioning sessions will be Monday through Thursday. On June 22nd, Sport Specific Skill sessions will be added as well to the Strength and Conditioning sessions.

Before a student is allowed to participate each day they will be required to complete a self screening of COVID 19 symptoms and their temperature will be taken. If the students are experiencing any of the COVID 19 symptoms or have a temperature over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, they will not be allowed to participate that day.

Attached are the scheduled time slots for each Strength and Conditioning session, the symptoms for the COVID 19 Self Screening and the guidelines and protocols that will be used during the Strength and Conditioning sessions.
